Christina Pearson

Christina Pearson is a genre-bending romance author who writes complicated women, dangerous desire, and love stories in places they probably shouldn’t exist. Her work blends romance with other genres like fantasy, thriller, and horror, often centering on morally complicated antiheroines, found family, female friendship, and women fighting to reclaim their power.

An Edward R. Murrow Award-winning journalist, Christina has spent her career telling stories as a national television correspondent. Her nonfiction work has been sold to The New York Times Presents on Netflix, and she holds an M.A. from Columbia University and a B.A. from Wake Forest University.

Her debut novel, BLOODFLAME, an epic adult romantasy, will be published in 2028 as the first in a two-book deal.

Whether she’s writing about a shadow-wielding heroine, a female serial killer, a beauty queen who falls for another contestant, or a journalist who starts having visions of a murder she didn't commit, Christina’s stories share one thing: women are allowed to be messy, ambitious, angry, dangerous, deeply flawed...and still worthy of being the heroine.

She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and rescue dog and is usually working on her next story about women who fall in love, fight back, and occasionally choose murder.
